Lakota Cove is nestled on 26 acres in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains in Jasper, Georgia. Our 11,000 sq. ft. log building was built and designed by owner, Linda Magness. The Lakota Cove lodge features intricate carved doors and archways, beautiful log kitchen, and fabulous creek side bathroom. Linda Magness, a member of ASID, specializes in rustic elegance with a log home and timber frame appeal. Lakota Cove has been featured in many magazines across in the United States such as Log Home Living, Cabin Life, Country Home, Log Home and Timber Frame, Southern Living, Cowboys and Indians, Points North, and Atlanta Style. Our furniture designs have been featured on Oprah, at Disney World, and Georgia State Parks. Lakota Cove provided the furniture featured in the 2005 Street of Dreams home "Tranquility" by Dan DeJiacamo and the Decorators Showcase house in Cashiers, North Carolina. Our recent showcase houses have been in Big Canoe at Choctaw Village - "The Monterrey" 2006, and the "Riverdale" 2007. Lakota Cove is recognized as one of the top rustic design centers in the United States.
Lakota Cove's signature is the finest log, hickory, antler, mountain laurel, cedar, and rustic lighting available and is handcrafted all across the United States. Here you see the American Spirit as seen in our creations of Log home furnishings, wagon wheel furniture, willow and bark, hand forged iron. Lakota Cove has been featured in the Booth Museum in Cartersville, Ga. Our display of a Western Native American furniture scene and one of Western Cowboy furniture scene has gotten great reviews. It is our pleasure to present to you a "Statement of Rustic Elegance" presented by our design center and our many American artists. Guests at Crabapple Hills Farm at Lakota Cove always are greeted by my Penny (the family dachshund) and a cup of coffee or during the summer, lemonade on the porch. Over the years our customers have become our wonderful friends. We enjoy sitting down and talking over plans and advice for each of our customers needs.
