Highlander's Featured Fall Festivals

Foxfire Fall Heritage Festival
12th Annual Foxfire Fall Heritage Festival
Featuring Old-Fashioned Fun, Food, Crafts, and Music
September 30th, 2006 • 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
at Dillard City Hall • Next to the Dillard House
in
Dillard, Georgia

Admission is $4.00 for adults; children ten and under are free.
All proceeds benefit Foxfire’s Local Educational Programs.

Festival goers will see over 32 exhibits and demonstrations such as pottery, corn shuck dolls, crocheted and knitted items, spinning, berry basket making, woodworking, broom making, coppersmithing, blacksmithing, soap and candle making, canoe carving, Native Indian flutes, and more.

The Foxfire 40th Anniversary Book will be at the Festival:
Faith, Family, and the Land.

“Contacts” featured in the book, as well as the editors, will be on hand to autograph books, which may be purchased at the festival or in advance at the Foxfire Museum Gift Shop.

John C. Campbell's Fall Festival is a celebration of our rich Appalachian heritage. Fine craft, demonstrations, music and dance performances, children’s activities, tasty food, and a visit to the school’s Craft Shop and History Center.
