Enchanting Lanterns - Xia Zhang

Self-care is crucial in learning how to be comfortable in your own skin, and what better way than to reward yourself with a glass of wine and candle-lit ambiance? This single night class will create clay cylindrical forms out of slabs, and then cut out designs that soothes and enchants as the perfect accent light to any room.

Charmed Wine - Emily Culver

By beading, cutting and bending metal, students will learn the process of creating unique charms and small objects in metal. By the end of the evening, students will leave with handmade charms which can be affixed to the stem of glasses to adorn their drink or the perfect small item to accent any jewelry collection.

Sips and Silk - Elyse-Krista Mische

Feel extravagant while you enjoy a glass of wine and create your own customized silk scarf. Students will learn the basics of acid dying, including a few folding and bundling techniques to create color pattern. Students will carve a linoleum block stamp or two, and will adorn their dyed scarf with a printed design. Wear your scarf home and you're sure to be the talk of the town!

Throw Pillows - Max Adrian

Sip the night away while sewing a saucy set of throw pillows. A variety of piecing and appliqu techniques will be covered, and students are encouraged to bring any personal fabrics or embellishments such as buttons, trims, tassels, and fringe that they may like to incorporate. Some embellishments will be available for additional purchase. Prior knowledge of machine sewing helpful.

Press-Molded Party Dishes M. Paige Ward

Show off your skills to your party guests with your own unique serving dish that you will create in this workshop. Through the use of press-molding and coil building techniques, the class will make hand-built serving bowls to use at all of your parties. Work will be fired and available for pick up the following week.

$40| 21+, One complimentary glass of wine per student and materials provided

All classes require special materials, most are available in Arrowmont's Supply Store. A materials list is provided to students with their registration confirmation. Students are responsible for the cost of materials. Some shared materials will be provided and that cost is included in the class fee.

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-registered basis. Class size is limited early registration is recommended.Registration is by phone at 865-436-5860.
