Spring Fling-Earth Day Celebrations

The Andrews NC Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Spring Fling/Earth Day Celebration on Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27.

The two-day event will begin with educational activities at the Andrews Public Library, located in downtown Andrews, for students and others interested in the activities that will include a presentation by the Hiwassee River Watershed Coalition and others.

Saturday's activities will featured vendors to fill up the downtown area from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A beer and wine garden will showcase Cherokee County businesses.

The first Spring Sling, a cornhole tournament will be held offering a cash prize.

A family friendly environmental movie will be shown outdoors at dusk. People are asked to bring their own seating.
