Santa on the Chimney
Chimney Rock has become Santa's favorite place to train for his big night of deliveries. After a long summer, what better place to prepare and stay in shape than on one of the world's largest chimneys at Chimney Rock State Park? Write a letter to Santa, enjoy live holiday music, hot cocoa, cookies, photo ops with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and meet live Park animal ambassadors.

11am-2pm – Animal programs, kid's crafts and Christmas refreshments
11-11:30 am – Photos with Santa
11am-12:30pm- Chase High School Band Performs
11:30am-12pm- Santa rappels from the Chimney
12-12:30pm- Photos with Santa
12:30-1:30pm- Lake Lure Classical Academy and Acoustic Ensemble Performs
1-1:30pm- Photos with Santa
1:30-2 p.m. -Santa rappels down the Chimney
2 p.m. – Climbing certificate winner name drawn
