Blue Ridge GA - North Georgia Chamber Symphony/Young Harris Chorus Fall Concert
The will be in concert with the Young Harris Faculty wind players and chorus (52 beautiful voices) in the performance of Mozart’s Mass in C Major, K. 317 “Coronation Mass” and Domine, ad adjuvandum me festina (Lord, My God, Assist Me Now), by G.B. Martini.
The Chamber Symphony will open the concert with Aaron Copland’s Hoe Down, from Rodeo, followed by George Walker’s Lyric for Strings. Soprano Emily Roberts, a graduate of this fine choral program, will join us on Heiter Villa-Lobos’ Bachianas Brasileiras, No. 5.
This concert is offered on Saturday, in Blue Ridge at the Fannin County High School Performing Arts Center, at 3:00 pm
and at Young Harris College (Clegg Hall) on Sunday at 3:00pm.
