The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association invites you to the opening reception for our first exhibits of 2024 on January 20th from 5-7 PM.
The Makers Collective Exhibit will showcase handcrafted works by regional artists and makers inside the Richard Low Evans Gallery at The Art Center. The show will feature over 400 pieces and is on track to be our largest exhibit since BRMAA’s inception.
In addition to the Makers Collective Exhibit, the reception will showcase our Resident Artist for the 1st quarter, Robin Bird Smith. Robin’s sculpture and folk art inspiration comes from life around her. Woodland, rivers, lakes, and wildlife, she captures their spirit and identity in clay. Her whimsical creations evoke chuckles and laughter. Some may make you shed a tear. She truly sculpts life.
The Opening Reception is free and open to the public and features light hors d'oeuvres, a wine bar, beautiful artwork, and more!
Artist reception will be held January 20th at 5pm - 7pm
