Annual Park in the Dark

Celebrate the very beginning of the Fall color season in Hickory Nut Gorge by seeing day turn to night from the top of the Rock. Your family will enjoy hands-on activities, nature stations, storytelling around the campfire, smores and more during this fundraiser for the Friends of Chimney Rock State Park.

The Friends support the greater Chimney Rock State Park and its rangers by helping build and maintain trails and purchasing educational supplies for the State's outreach programs.
