Fort Mountain State Park Lake in Chatsworth, GA
Murray County - North Georgia Mountains
The lake contains bream, channel catfish and largemouth bass. Fishing is allowed year round from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Fishing is allowed from the bank only.
Camping, picnic tables and restrooms are available. Swimming is allowed from Memorial to Labor Day in designated beach areas.
Activities: Non-Motorized Fishing Boat, Canoe, Kayak, Stand-up Paddleboard and Pedal Boat Rental (seasonal)
Fish species: Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, Striped Bass, Breem, Crappie and Catfish. Non-motorized boats only, no minnows allowed for bait.
Season: Memorial Day - Labor Day
Park Hours: 7am - 10pm
Directions: 8 miles east of Chatsworth via Ga. Hwy. 52 (take I-75 exit #333 toward Ga. Hwy. 411)
