Season: Year round.

Directions: From Asheville, I-26 to exit 2, NC 191, go south for 13.3 miles, turn right on 134, go 5 miles.

 

Lake Powhatan

Facilities: Picnics, swimming, fishing and hiking, restrooms available.

Season: April 1st to October 31st.

Directions: From Asheville, I-26 to exit 2, NC 191, go south for 4 miles, turn right on FR 806, go 3.5 miles.
