Panthertown Creek

Panthertown Creek is located on the Highlands Ranger District and managed by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission under the “Wild Trout Waters, catch and release, single hook, artificial lures only” classification.  This area provides back country fishing opportunities for the angler.

Directions from Highlands, North Carolina: take Highway 64 East.  Continue through Cashiers into the Sapphire community.  Turn left onto NC 1121.  At the third river crossing is Panthertown Creek.
